For care related to a specific condition

Your PCP can help connect you with the specialist that's right for you.

When you need care quickly for a non-emergency illness or injury

Examples:

• Cold or flu symptoms
• Minor infections
• Sprains
• Minor cuts or injuries

Urgent care is often a faster and less expensive option than the ER.

Some conditions ARE emergencies and require immediate attention

Examples:

• Chest pain
• Difficulty breathing
• Severe injuries
• Stroke symptoms

Use the ER when immediate emergency care is needed.
